Banish the winter doldrums with pure white, double blooms on 16-18" stems. Double Amaryllis White Nymph's huge, 7-8" flowers add plenty of dazzle and flair to indoor displays. This popular variety is great for holiday gifting—and looks stunning in a decorative container. Each bulb produces 1-2 stems, each with at least 4 flowers. Most amaryllis bulbs bloom about 6-8 weeks after planting. For Christmas blooms, plant the amaryllis bulbs around the end of October to early November; for Thanksgiving blooms, plant the bulbs around the beginning of October.

The double white blooms are beautiful. Strong stems, 21 inches tall. Amazing that this single bulb produced two stems at exactly the same time, reaching the exact same height, with each producing 5 blooms. The result is a mass of double flowers atop what appears to be a single stem. Overall amazing. Can't wait to see how this reblooms next year.

We grow Amaryllis each year and these were a very good performer. Most important, they grew at a uniform pace among the six different bulbs planted in different containers. They all did their first bloom within a few days of each other and continued for two weeks. Also very happy with the compact growth habit and multiple blooming stems, each with multiple blooms, from each bulb.

Can the Double Amaryllis white nymph be a outside plant? I have 2 bulbs of Red Amaryllis that have multiplied into 10 bulbs in a outside garden where they've stayed for 5 years in Northeast Texas (the 3rd winter was -4° with 4 snows) & they bloom every spring & occasionally in fall. So do you think these white ones could survive?

- Verified Reply - AngelaWe only suggest growing Amaryllis outdoors in zone 10. If you have had good luck with other Amaryllis, it's possible these could perform well too. We just can't guarantee it. If you try it, I would be sure to mulch over the top of the bulbs heavily before winter.Was this answer helpful to you
