A late-blooming variety, Donald Wyman Lilac grows 8-10 ft. tall with a slightly narrower spread. Its fragrant flower clusters attract butterflies and hummingbirds, and are also excellent for cutting for fresh floral arrangements. Flowering shrubs, like lilac bushes, provide structure to gardens and landscapes. The Donald Wyman Lilac can be planted as a flowering hedge or privacy screen along property borders. Planting Instructions:
Soak roots while preparing the planting site. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the roots are long. Spread roots around and bury with dirt. Water gently immediately after to eliminate air pockets in the soil. -

Watering Requirements:

Feed before new growth emerges in spring. Increase watering before spring bloom, in absence of rainfall/snow melt. Prune after flowering.
