Café au Lait Royal reliably bears mammoth, 10" fully double blooms in soft shades of light pink to dusky rose-pink. The flowers are spectacular and create a wonderful floral display in virtually any sunny to partly shaded landscape site. Particularly good as an accent choice, setting off bolder-hued midsummer perennials from midsummer to fall. Royal is part of the new, but already highly sought after, Café au Lait series of Dinnerplate Dahlias. Lift in fall in zones 3-8.

I planted tubers in a few different areas, I had some single and broken tubers. Now in mid August the plants are only 5"-6" tall. and no flowers. Out of 30 different dahlias that I ordered; I only have 3 or 4 plants that have flowers.

Can these Dahlias be grown in a container?

- Verified Reply - AngelaDahlias can be grown in containers. An 18 inch diameter pot should be sufficient for the Cafe au Lait Dahlia. Just be sure it has adequate drainage holes.Was this answer helpful to you

Do you have any Dinnerplate Dahlia's or any kind of Dahlia's that you do not have to dig up in the fall for zone 4-5?
