An award winning tulip, Burning Heart features creamy white, pale yellow petals with a blood red flame. Darwin hybrid tulips were developed as a result of crossing the Single Late (Darwin and Cottage) Tulips with the Early Fosteriana Tulips. Truly exceptional, they are among the most weather resistant of all garden tulips with large flower heads on strong stems. These statuesque beauties have exceptional perennial qualities and will produce many lovely giant flowers year after year with proper care. We recommend fertilization twice a year with our 100% Natural Bulb Food to improve their perennial nature.

What a beautiful surprise. These tulips were strong, tall and long lasting. Matured to a soft ehite.

These were amazing. I planted 25, and literally all 25 bloomed (starting in mid-April and lasting through early May, about three weeks total—Zone 6A). Striking, gorgeous, vibrant colors. Out of everything in my spring garden, these are what got the most praise from various neighbors. I'll leave another glowing review (with pics) if they come back next year.
