Mix of the Majestic Alstroemeria series produces clusters of peach, pink, yellow or cream flowers with cinnamon-red flecks. These bushy, compact plants grow just 14-24" tall, making them ideal for borders and containers. Low maintenance and long-lived, these cold-hardy (zone 5) perennials bloom continuously for more than five months.

Growing Tips

  • Planting Instructions:

    Soak roots in water before planting. Dig a hole deep enough to accommodate the roots without bending them. Plant with the eyes (sprouts) just below the soil. Water well after planting. Do not plant too deep!
  • Soil Moisture:

    Well-drained, average soil. Avoid heavy soils.
  • Will Tolerate:

    Acidic Soil, Clay Soil, Loamy Soil, Sandy Soil
  • Pruning Instructions:

    Remove spent flower stems. This will encourage the plant to continue flowering.
  • Winter Care:

    We advise to apply a 1-2" mulch in zones 5 and 6, especially during cold winters.
  • Planting Depth:

    Do not plant too deep. Plant with the eyes just below the soil.
  • Watering Requirements:

    Average water needs. Water well until plants are well established which is after a 3-4 weeks.
  • Fertilization Requirements:

    One or twice a year during the growing period

We take advanced orders, and as the crops are harvested, our staff of K. van Bourgondien experts makes an on-the-spot selection of the finest bulbs available to fill those reservations.

Orders for gift certificates will be shipped immediately.

Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship any plant items from late June through August. General merchandise will be shipped with your plant order.
