Love these! They bloomed wonderfully and added color to the garden as tulips were fading but before the lilies had started to bloom! Sturdy stems and great geometric shapes to add a uniqueness to my flower selection. #sweepstakes

These huge blooms were some of the first things to come up in the yard this year. They only got a couple of feet tall but the flowers made up for it. They also make great dried flowers - like big bursts of fireworks.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Love these & will definitely plant more this coming fall

From Gibbsboro, NJ

Nearly every one of the bulbs I planted came up & have bloomed beautifully & have managed to stand up & continue blooming even with a lot of wind & rain. I think the few that didn't manage to come up were likely uprooted by squirrels digging up & burying the gazillion acorns that fall in the area. I will definitely plant more this coming fall.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

These allium bloomed beautifully, edging both sides if a path in full sun. Hungry deer ate the buds if about a dozen of the 100 I planted- unexpected. I will spray them next time around.

Q
Can these winter over in outdoor planters? Barrel planter 20h x 20h top width 16 bottom width.
Asked by Steve
Verified Reply - AngelaI think it's risky to leave potted Allium bulbs outside for winter in Wyoming. If you want to try it since your barrel is too heavy to move, insulate with leaves or straw. I would place a wire cage/fence around the barrel and completely fill it with leaves or straw. You could even wrap the cage with burlap to help block the wind. Was this answer helpful to you
