Beautiful, cup-shaped flowers add romance and color to late winter and early spring. Species Crocus Romance (chrysanthus) features creamy white flowers with darker markings. Growing 4-6" tall, these hardy flowers are a delightful addition to rock gardens, containers and borders—and they're a wonderful complement to Giant Crocus. Because they bloom early, before many deciduous trees leaf out and before lawn-mowing season, species crocus can be planted in woodlands and lawns. Crocus bulbs multiply rapidly, so you'll enjoy more blooms every year. For the best effect, plant crocus bulbs in groups of 10 or more.

Only 5 came up and the squirles ate the tops. I had chicken wire above and on the sides in the dirt so the squirles couldn't get to the bulbs.

Planted 25 bulbs fall 2020, only had 3 bloom spring 2021. Disappointed, though those that popped are lovely.

The crocus were gorgeous. Our first bloomers, we had small groups of bulbs planted in the front garden beds that came up in early March in our 5b zone. Welcome early sign of Spring! Blooms started out brighter and faded to cream.

Any suggestions for planting crocuses in pots. I put some in last fall and they didn't all bloom and didn't all bloom near the same time. thank you
