Large Cupped Daffodil Red Devon

Large Cupped Daffodil Red Devon

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
A customer favorite, Large Cupped Daffodil Red Devon makes a striking impression in flower beds, borders and naturalized areas. The greenish-yellow petals surround an orange cup, creating a cheerful, radiant look in the garden or a vase.  Growing 16" tall, Red Devon naturalizes well, coming back year after year. Blooming in mid spring, it can be planted with early blooming varieties to extend the daffodil season. For the best performance, plant daffodil bulbs in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to pass them by.

Attractive flowers, trumpet color not as deep as pictured

Submitted 1 year ago

By Flower maximalist

From Zone 7a

Pretty, bright daffodils with slightly down-turned aspect. The trumpet color is more of a medium orange than the deep red-orange from the catalog picture. I remember that some of the 'Red Devon' bulbs were a bit on the smaller side last fall, and most but not all have bloomed in the first year. That being said, they're still a good addition to my garden and help fill out the mid-spring color!

My daffodils were beautiful, very satisfied, the only thing I did not like was the number of dried up, unviable bulbs in my shipment.

These were pretty, but much lighter cups than I expected. Easy to grow put them in the ground, they do the rest.

Great service! Good quality!

By Peony

From Seattle,WA

I ordered and received some damaged bulbs (probably due to long distance shipping). I emailed them with some pictures of the damaged bulbs. I just want them to know about it so they can pay attention to the shipping issue, two days later I received an email that they sent me a new replacement parcel. I am really amazed at how they serve their customers. And this spring, my garden is full of colors. Thank you!
