Excellent color pop, but two things to know in advance

Grew these in central Minnesota. 90% came up, even in a not full sun area. Color is great. First thing: They need support. As the blooms develop they get top heavy and will fall over. Second: Dig up the bulbs in fall and store inside or they won't come back. It's not a tulip or daffodil they require attention.

I had high expectations for these flowers but none bloomed. I'm very disappointed. It is the first time this has ever happened. They were planted next to variety assortment that did bloom very well. I have just dug them up to see the condition of the bulbs. they are still the same size and have lots of tiny babies. I will store for the winter and try again next spring with any that survive. These were the smallest bulbs that I planted this past spring. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I ordered almost 200 gladiolus and all but two of them bloomed. They are gorgeous and perfect! I can't wait to order more for next season!
