Although they were very pretty, I believe they did not all bloom. I planted them in my backyard because of the deer. The deer left them alone; therefore, I will purchase more for the front yard in that the deer are become more problematic.

Wonderful Fragrance

First time growing these and they smell wonderful- like a gardenia. The flower is much smaller than a traditional daff, so they mix well with other bulbs. I cut a some and brought them inside to enjoy the fragrance.

Q
When should I order Narcissus "Cheerfulness" to force for Christmas gifts? Are the bulbs ready to force or do I have to chill them after I receive your order?
Asked by Jane
Verified Reply - AngelaWe are accepting orders now for fall shipping. You will need to pre-chill these bulbs for about 12 weeks for forcing. They will need another 3 to 4 weeks to bloom. You would need to start chilling them in August for December blooms. I am not sure we would be able to deliver the bulbs in time. You may want to check for a local source.
