of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Beautiful blend of golden yellow and salmon-rose hues deepen as the flower matures. A Lefeber hybrid, Late-Flowering Tulip El Nino adds beauty to the landscape and the vase. Blooming in late spring, it grows 28" tall. For a dazzling display, plant El Nino in large groups as focal points or near walkways. Planting early, mid and late-season tulip varieties is a great way to extend the tulip season. Beauties

Submitted 10 months ago

By Tulip lover

From Rochester NY

These tulips all came up tall and beautiful. They have strong stems. The coloring and shape are wonderful. It is stated that they bloom in May but most of mine started blooming the last week of April here in Rochester, NY which is a zone 6.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

About 25% bloomed a second year

Update from year 2 - of the 22 that bloomed up last year, about half came back up and 6 bloomed. I view this as a nice bonus, since they weren't advertised as having perennial properties! (Basically, I was too lazy to pull them out, and figured I'd see if any came back.)

Tall and striking, more orange than pictured

Much taller than my other tulips with very striking variations in color. As others have noted, they're more orangey and less pink/red than pictured (except one). 22 of 25 bloomed.

These were amazingly tall and dramatic. They grew great and got a lot of attention. As far as colour, these were not my favourite... more orange and yellow in tone than the photo on the website.

Only half bloomed. 🥲. Not sure if it's because our winter kept coming or not.
