These allium grew very tall and some had to be supported due to their height. The bulbs are really pretty and a nice addition to the yard

Most fabulous addition to the garden! Small bulbs can be planted amongst existing perennial plantings. And seriously, just dig a hole and throw them in, planting closer together than recommended! Plant 200 a year. I'm not joking! Blooming in July, they are stunning alongside summer grasses, blue geraniums and terra cotta Yarrows! Full sun is best. May require some support in windy areas- hence the recommendation of planting with taller companions. They also dry well for floral arrangements.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Takes a long time to bloom. Months. But when it does it looks like the picture. They are very tall and need to be supported. Would I buy again, probably not.

Drumstick Allium zone 9 a Tall Winner!

These allium drumstick bulbs all bloomed a nice shade of purple just like the photo. Tall, about 4 ft using some 10-10-10 fertilizer. Also sturdy as it's windy here and the stalks aren't falling over…just happily dancing with the wind. Great buy, would order again.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Disappointed

Waited in anticipation for these to bloom. Leaves sprouted timely, seemed to thrive along with rest of garden, however, not a single stalk/ flower ever emerged. In fact, of the many bulbs I planted/ purchased from this company only 1 single(Allium Summer Drummer) has bloomed. I cannot overlook the fact, that from all that was planted this season, only the products from this company haven't thrived.

Almost every bulb came up and bloomed. I love their architectural design element and color. A unique and lovely addition to my reclamation-from-the-desert garden. I will plant additional bulbs this fall to create more dense beds.
