Still waiting but outstanding customer service

I planted them at the right time and they did not come up. I called customer service and they were extremely friendly and helpful. They made notes in my account and said if they don't come up by the end of June to let them know when they will replace them. They also suggested that I could dig one up and see if it is in there still alive and if it is, I could even wait until next year to see if it comes up and they will still replace them. I did exactly what they said and when I dug one up, it was perfectly fine and had small roots on it. I am very hopeful for next year that they will come up and I will Have thriving lilies. For Customer Service I give this company five stars, they are always wonderful when I need help. For the lilies I give it three stars because I don't know if they will flourish or not yet.

Very disappointed in the performance of the bulbs. I have searched for spider lilies for a long time and was overjoyed when I found them on your website. None of the spider lily bulbs I planted grew.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Excellent cut flower

Submitted 4 years ago

By Neal

From Atlanta, GA

I have 4 spider lily varieties (red, golden, white, and electric blue. These are my wife's favorite color. They have very long stems and are impressive, long lasting, cut flowers. They work well as a single stem (in a bud vase) or in an arrangement with shorter flowers. Careful arrangement is key, since the numerous individual florets can get tangled with other flowers. I like spider lilies because they thrive in my shady yard with its heavy clay soil and bloom late in the season, when few other flowers bloom. The blooms usually last at least a week, in the garden or in a vase. Unfortunately, not all of the bulbs have survived (after 4-5 years), but the remaining ones are doing great and put up more flower stems each year. If daffodils do well in your garden, spider lilies probably will too. I would have given 5 stars if all the bulbs had survived.
