Lilies are available in a wide range of colors, heights and bloom times. Here are five types of lilies to consider for your garden:How to Care for Lilies
Lilies are hardy, easy-to-grow bulbs that can be grown in zones 3-8. Like other flower bulbs, they prefer well-drained soil and can be planted in full sun to partial shade.Lily bulbs can be planted in the spring or the fall. When planting lily bulbs, the planting depth should be about three times the diameter of the bulb. We recommend fertilizing with 100% Natural Bulb Food at planting time.
After the lily flowers have bloomed, allow the leaves to fade and don't remove the leaves until fall. They help provide nourishment for the next season's blooms.
