got what I wanted

Submitted 3 years ago

By Neyronrose

From southeastern Pennsylvania

I planted the bulbs in pots when I got them, and kept them inside. The two that got more light flowered, and the one that didn't get much light still produced a nice set of leaves. I've planted the bulb that had a short-stemmed flower in a sheltered area of the garden, and it's sprouting leaves. I'm not quite in Zone 7, but pretty close. I'll see if it comes through the winter outside. The flowers made for a nice cheerful show indoors earlier in the spring.

Hardy garden amaryllis

Submitted 8 years ago

By Mary Henderson

From Marvell AR

Beautiful plant that lasted quite a while in full bloom. Has not gone through a winter so not sure how winter hardy it is but will purchase again even if it is not as hardy as advertised. Well worth the money.
