New to southern Wisconsin, we didn't know how well glads would grow here. We were pleasantly surprised and definitely impressed with the Gladiolus White Prosperity. I made many arrangements with them and have attached a photos of two of my favorites.

It has a hint of pale pink. But it's stunning. I wished to have more blooms, like getting a 100 out of 100 bulbs I planted. I asked customer service why it happens like this (no reply yet) not all came out.

Beautiful white gladiolus! All (or nearly all) bulbs bloomed and I was able to give bouquets of 6-12 stems to family and friends throughout July and August.

The White Prosperity gladiolus were really sensational. Big stalks with many flowers and strong leaves as well. They lasted a long time when cut in vases. Thank you.

I believe every bulb grew and produced a lovely spike of bloom. There were many times this summer when the glads were the glory of the new garden. They looked great blooming with cerise (cool red) roses and nepeta (cat mint) Walker's Lowe.

2nd year update

Submitted 3 years ago

By Leniad

From Wytheville, Va

I planted mine last year and was very pleased. Replanted them again this year and again pleased. We have had high winds recently and have been amazed that the stalks of this variety are so strong. Several other varieties of glads have had snapped stalks, but none of the 5ft stalks of White Prosperity have snapped. SO Happy.

Amazing 5 ft. pure white flower stalks

I was shocked on arrival of the 10cm bulbs (the size of a quarter) and figured none of them would bloom this year - I WAS WRONG!!!! I pre-sprouted 60 of them at intervals to stagger planting and every single one bloomed. It was a horrifically dry May here and NONE of the unsoaked corms bloomed - only 5 grew - but that's ok, my/weather's fault. I will always pre-sprout in future, The blossoms were HUGE and very beautiful - all were between 4-5 ft, I think a couple of Essential variety got mixed in (more open hibiscus-like flower), but they are also white - so it was fine with me. Will definitely be ordering some of the different varieties here.
