Fuchsia-pink with gold highlights.

We first came across this series of dahlias while visiting the Verwer Brothers a few years ago in their trial gardens. They were developed for the cut-flower market in Holland because of their extraordinarily strong stems and almost iridescent colors. You will have to see them for yourself to truly see what we are talking about.

Really attracts attention

This year was my first year of growing dahlias in a South Carolina Summer. This was one of my favorite dahlias in NH and I wondered how it would stand up to a much, much hotter summer. The answer was that it stood up much, much taller. The flowers are beautifully colored on stems that aspire to be trees. The flowers are looking over my six foot fence and people stop and look at them. One lady knocked on my garden gate to ask about them. She wanted to know if they were really that tall or were they growing in a raised contained In spite o the energy put into the stems the flowers are huge, lovely and in good number from thigh high upwards on the stem.

I love this dahlia--the pollinators do too! The colors are so vibrant. I've been growing it every year for about 5 years now. I reorder it just in case my tubers don't overwinter well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
