Strong, beautiful blooms, but color not as pictured

Submitted 2 years ago

By Flower maximalist

From Zone 6b

Tall, striking late tulips on strong stems with 100% bloom rate. However, the color is not as pictured; they're a solid deep pink verging on red - suspect a mix-up with 'Yosemite.'

I will have to update in the Spring when the tulips should be up, but I can say that the bulbs were large and all of them looked perfect. Shipping was expedient. All of the bulbs as well as plants in the past that I purchased from this company have been superb. I wish I had heard of K.van Bourgondien years ago.

Q
Can these be expected to perennialize in full sun and well-drained soil in Zone 8?
Asked by Ruchi
Verified Reply - ViciThese are not considered to be perennial tulips. When looking for the best tulips to perennialize you should choose a Darwin Hybrid tulip as they are the best for this. Was this answer helpful to you
