Double Peony Ice Cream Tulip Bulbs

Ah-mazing! We live near an elementary school and I am always finding fun things to plant just to hear their commentary as they walk by. These did not disappoint, "look at the ice cream cone flowers she has this year!!! No! It looks like a snow cone! But it won't taste good! Eww!" Perfect way to start my morning chucking at the kiddos as I sit inside listening to their commentary!

These tulips are very pretty but the head is too heavy for the stem causing them to fall over. Some of them grew with crooked stems as they tried to support the too-heavy flower.

I was so looking forward to seeing these gorgeous tulips bloom. But….they emerged but grew only about 5 inches tall and never bloomed. Do you have any explanation for this? I am sooooo disappointed.

I am not an experienced gardener, but I saw these tulips and had to order the bulbs. I think squirrels might have stolen a couple, but they came up so beautiful! These are a great showpiece in my flower beds!

Planted these tulips as was instructed, not one came up or flowered, was very upset and disappointed.

Somewhat disappointing as the bright colorful tulips were not very long lasting. The colors quickly faded and the white turned ugly brown quickly.

Great tulips. Very different from the "normal" tulip shape.

I will most likely order these tulips again for more of a show in my yard next spring

In the picture it shows them with a dark pink outer petals. In my garden they were very light pink and weren't as dramatic as the picture. They did bloom well and were long lasting.

Cute Ice Cream tulips, but the stems were a bit short for my garden.
