Huge blooms of gorgeous color the second year after planting

Submitted 3 years ago

By Fauna

From Baltimore, Maryland

The bareroot plants arrived large and healthy; all 3 came up the first year and 2 of those had a couple of smallish flowers. The second year all 3 bloomed with HUGE flowers of indescribably gorgeous magenta color. Hands down the most beautiful peonies in my garden. I am planning to order more!

Color not as pictured

Submitted 3 years ago

By JCBT

From North Carolina

I submitted a negative review previously that appears to have been removed from the website. I had a three year odyssey with this cultivar in which I finally gave up. The flowers my plants produced after three successive years of planting replacement bulbs were vivid magenta pink. The photographs online have been electronically enhanced. You will notice there are no actual photos of this bloom taken by customers. My plants are beautiful, but they are not the dark burgundy red I was hoping to grow. Purchase them if you must, but be advised the color will be completely different than what you see in the photos.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

LOVE These Peonies

Submitted 4 years ago

By Gardener

From CA

Purchased two bags for a total of 6 plants and planted in the FALL. They are all growing and the color is beautiful. I am so excited because I got my first bud and was not expecting one to bloom so soon. Cannot wait until they all open up full of buds and blooming!

These were really beautiful bare roots. Multiple, healthy eyes. They seem to be growing well and I look forward to flowers in the next couple of years. Will leave a new review with photos when I get blooms. :)
